This project was an exploration of typography and texture inspired by the process of decaying. When things deform as a result of decaying, they make us uncomfortable, but often become more fascinating as form and expanded to new interpretations. To convey this sense, I experimented with various letter forms and physically exposed them to various environments such as water, heat etc. These were later combined with pencil and ink markings and animated to express the factors and physical process of decaying.
